Internet of Things Laboratory (IoTLab@FER) is a research laboratory at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing located at the Department of Telecommunications. The laboratory carries out research and innovation in the field of IoT, aiming to develop innovative services, interoperable solutions and software platforms for connecting a huge number of heterogeneous IoT devices. Laboratory members participate in multidisciplinary research (smart agriculture, smart cities), and we also have knowledge and expertise related to decentralized software systems (Distributed Ledger Technology, DLT and Blockchain). The lab is equipped with modern IoT devices and focuses on the following:
- providing a teaching course on Internet of Things and involving students in related projects;
- knowledge transfer to the Croatian economy to develop innovative products and services; and
- networking and visibility in the European Research Area
